AQRU PLC (AQSE:AQRU) announced chief investment officer Phillip Kallerhoff will join the board as executive director.
Kallerhoff has a wealth of experience in the decentralised finance (DeFi) sector, having founded DeFi Yield Technologies Inc, which was acquired by AQRU in October.
Kallerhoff also has a successful track record in managing hedge funds across asset classes, including the management of the DeFi hedge fund, AQRU said.
Misha Sher and Timothy Le Druillenec, non-executives of the DeFi company, will step down from the board with immediate effect to spend more time on their other commitments.
Since 9 May, assets under management fell 75% to US$13mln, while platform signups rose around 5,000 to 25,000.
