Atlantic Lithium reports high grades from new target at Ewoyaa project

The high-grade intersections were from a new target at Grasscutter North

Atlantic Lithium Ltd reported high lithium grades from initial drilling results at its flagship Ewoyaa project in Ghana.

Significant high-grade intersections from a completed drilling programme at the Grasscutter North target included 22 metres (m) at 1.25% lithium oxide from a depth of 104m; 15m at 1.35% lithium oxide; and 13m at 1.26% lithium oxide.

In March, the AIM-traded company announced a significant upgrade in lithium resources at Ewoyaa.

The high-grade intersections announced today were in a new target, outside of the current resource estimate.

“These results, being in close proximity to the currently defined resource, give us confidence to deliver future resource upgrades for the project,” said interim chief executive Lennard Kolff.

"Drilling at the Ewoyaa project is ongoing, with only approximately 15,000m of the planned 37,000m programme completed to date. Assays for the ongoing resource evaluation and exploration drilling are still pending, with the programme targeted to complete in Q3 2022,” he said.
