Leo Lithium lists on the ASX as it looks to accelerate development at the Goulamina Lithium Project

Leo Lithium Ltd’s Simon Simon Hay talks with Proactive’s Andrew Scott about the company’s ASX listing, its first day of trading and the hard work done to get on the boards. The listing has been a year in the making as the company demerged from Firefinch. Leo’s managing director speaks about the company’s reason for demerging, plans to develop the Goulamina Lithium Project – the next lithium project of significant scale to enter production – and the important partnership the company has with JV partner Ganfeng Lithium Co, with which it has a substantial offtake agreement. Hay also highlights how the project sets Leo apart from its spodumene peers, the strong relationships it has with the Mali government and community as it brings industry to the region, the growing and experienced management team and the upcoming works program which includes drilling and the release of assays, which will be used to re-state the existing reserve, which is one of the world’s largest global hard rock lithium Mineral Resource at 108.5Mt at 1.45% Li2O and Ore Reserve of 52.0Mt at 1.51% Li2O (100% basis).
