Sipa drilling Paterson North ahead of schedule with a busy work program in the pipeline

Sipa drilling Paterson North ahead of schedule with a busy work program in the pipeline

Sipa Resources Ltd (ASX:SRI)'s Pip Darvall speaks with Proactive’s Andrew Scott about the comprehensive reverse circulation (RC) drill program that is now underway at the company’s key Paterson North project. Notably, drilling at Paterson, a joint venture project with mining giant Rio Tinto, is ahead of schedule, with Rio to fund the program and Sipa to manage it as part of the companies’ agreement. Rio and Sipa have worked up several targets and Darvall explains that now is the time to drill the holes. The program is expected to take six weeks and will comprise 3,000-4,000 metres of RC drilling testing primarily regional targets. The work for Sipa doesn’t stop there, as the company will turn its attention to Barbwire Terrace, a 50/50 joint venture between Sipa and Buru Energy Ltd (ASX:BRU) and its 100% owned Wolfe Basin project following work at Paterson. The company expects to be busy for at least the next three months with plenty of newsflow to keep investors engaged.
