Arizona Silver Exploration Inc announced that drilling at its Philadelphia gold project in Arizona has again extended the dip extent of broad stockwork and high-grade vein gold-silver mineralization, with results that included 6.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 22.6 g/t silver over 2.4 metres (m) as well as at 1.0 g/t gold and 9.2 g/t silver over 78.7m.
The precious metals explorer said drilling has now defined high-grade mineralization over a dip length of more than 200m with the system open at depth.
“We have drilled the vein and the adjacent lower grade stockwork mineralization from two drill pads located 300 metres apart with complete success,” Arizona Silver Exploration vice president, exploration Greg Hahn said in a statement.

“All holes on these sections intersected gold-silver mineralization as predicted,” Hahn added.
Arizona Silver noted that assays have been returned for hole PC22-91, while results for two holes are pending.
It added that PC22-91 had been designed to potentially continue in mineralization for a further 22m.
As well, the company reported that it looks forward to drilling the northern extension of mineralization, where up to 26 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes, for about 5000m of drilling, have been designed to test a target area approximately 500m long north of drilling completed recently to a vertical depth of about 100m.
Vancouver-based Arizona Silver is focused on exploring gold-silver properties in western Arizona and Nevada.
