finnCap Group PLC's Sam Smith joins Proactive's Katie after her decision to step down after 24 years in charge of the business.
Her successor will be John Farrugia, managing partner of finnCap Cavendish who Smith says is 'the right person' as she goes into an advisory role in September.
Smith says he 'shares her vision and believes he can really grow the business into a full-scale advisory business for the mid market'.
