Savannah Resources PLC (AIM:SAV, ETR:SAV, OTC:SAVNF) chief executive David Archer catches up with Proactive London after achieving another key step in the development of its Barroso lithium project in Portugal after achieving positive results in locked cycle testing (LCT).
Archer explains the importance of completing three LCTs to simulate the continuous operation of a process plant and to find the optimal reagent dose, and what it means for recovery rates, revenues and costs.
He says while it has taken time to complete the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), "this really is a major de-risking element to the project".
