Unigold Inc announced that the TSX Venture Exchange has approved the extension of the expiry dates of a total of 16,629,167 share purchase warrants by six months to December 23, 2022. The warrants were issued pursuant to a private placement that closed on June 23, 2020. Each warrant entitles the holder to acquire one common share of the company, at a price of $0.30 per common share, and all other terms of the warrants, including exercise price, will remain the same. A total of 1,912,470 outstanding compensation warrants issued as finders fees for part of the financing in June 2020 cannot be extended and will expire on June 23, 2022. A total of 150,650 warrants are held by parties who are considered to be ‘related parties’ of the company, Unigold said.

Cypress Development Corp has reported positive lithium recovery rates at the Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) portion of its pilot extraction plant in Nevada, USA. Based on the results, the firm will now release 1 million Cypress shares, held in escrow, to Chemionex, satisfying last year's share purchase and license agreement with the latter, meaning Cypress now has full ownership of the equipment and a royalty-free license in perpetuity to use the Chemionex technology at the pilot plant and its Clayton Valley asset.

Arizona Silver Exploration Inc announced that drilling at its Philadelphia gold project in Arizona has again extended the dip extent of broad stockwork and high-grade vein gold-silver mineralization, with results that included 6.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 22.6 g/t silver over 2.4 metres (m) as well as at 1.0 g/t gold and 9.2 g/t silver over 78.7m. The precious metals explorer said drilling has now defined high-grade mineralization over a dip length of more than 200m with the system open at depth. “We have drilled the vein and the adjacent lower grade stockwork mineralization from two drill pads located 300 metres apart with complete success,” Arizona Silver Exploration vice president, exploration Greg Hahn said in a statement.

Solstice Gold Corp said it has started Phase 1 drilling at its 100%-owned Red Lake Extension (RLX) project in the northwestern corner of the prolific Red Lake Gold Camp. The company said the 5,000 meter (m) drill program will test three main target areas at an average depth of around 250m below surface. The target areas outlined are the initial or summer target areas and exclude winter-accessible areas of the project. Cabral Gold Inc has hailed testwork on the gold-in-oxide material at its MG target within its Cuiú Cuiú gold project in Brazil, which shows the deposit could be processed via the heap-leach method. The extensive oxide blanket at MG was not recognized until 2021 and was generally considered waste in earlier resource estimates. Adopting heap-leach processing could result in significantly lower capital investment and costs. Cabral said it would now advance to a preliminary economic analysis (PEA) of the gold-in-oxide blanket as soon as possible. Alan Carter, Cabral's CEO, told investors in a statement that the column leach test results were "very encouraging".

Essex Minerals Inc said that the first phase of 31 line kilometres (km) of induced polarization (IP) exploration has been completed by Meryllion Resources Corp at the Mt Turner copper-moly-gold project in Australia, which has identified a number of significant anomalies indicating sulphide mineralisation. As previously reported, Essex has granted Meryllion a 90-day option to fund a minimum C$250,000 on exploration at Mt Turner, including a detailed IP survey to define drill targets within the porphyry system. Meryllion then has the right to earn a 70% interest by funding up to a further C$3.8 million in exploration in three stages. "We are delighted with the Phase 1 results from the IP program, which has identified significant near surface and deeper porphyry drill targets co-incident with previously identified surface gold, copper and molybdenum in soil anomalies," Essex Minerals CEO Paul Loudon said in a statement.

Phunware Inc has announced the release of PhunWallet version 1.3, an updated mobile application software available on the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android. The latest app update enables users to log in and out across devices seamlessly, using the same username and password to easily access their accounts, the company said. Fobi AI Inc, a data intelligence and digital wallet pass powerhouse, has announced a new digital loyalty partnership with e-commerce marketing platform Yotpo. Yotpo provides loyalty and customer review solutions to over 300,000 customers across multiple industries. Last year, Yotpo raised $200 million from investors, including $30 million from Shopify and it resulted in a total company valuation of $1.4 billion, which earns Yotpo unicorn status, according to Fobi. Fobi said its new Yotpo Wallet pass solution will initially focus on Shopify retail and e-commerce customers and will eventually expand into other point of sale (POS) and e-commerce platforms. Fobi will make revenue from one-time setup fees per retailer and per-pass monthly licensing fees.
Mandalay Resources Corp provided an update on the eastern extension drilling from the North Zone drilling program at its Björkdal operation in Sweden, which included what it called “significant intercepts” such as 155.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 0.8 metres (m). The junior mining company said during the first half of 2022, underground exploration at Björkdal has been focused on further defining the Eastern Plunge extension veining and investigating the breadth and grade of mineralization to the north of Aurora within the North Zone. “We expect these results will increase our 2022 year-end Mineral Reserves,” Mandalay Resources CEO Dominic Duffy said in a statement.
Gevo Inc has announced a new sales agreement with Finnair for the purchase of 7 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for five years starting in 2027. The company said the deal would broaden its range of airline partners, grow its global footprint with its sustainable fuel products, and support its efforts towards its goal of producing and commercializing a billion gallons of SAF by 2030. Because Finnair is a member of the oneworld alliance and the agreement falls under the memorandum of understanding signed between oneworld and Gevo in April 2022, Gevo said the agreement will lay the groundwork for the 14 world-class airlines in the alliance to purchase 200 million gallons of SAF per year from Gevo’s commercial operations.
BetterLife Pharma Inc has announced that an abstract covering the anti-depressant activity of its lead compound 2-bromo-LSD (BETR-001) has been accepted for poster presentation at the FENS Forum to be held in Paris on July 9-13, 2022. The study, led by Vern Lewis, is part of BetterLife’s collaboration with the laboratory of Argel Aguilar-Valles at Carleton University’s Department of Neuroscience. Lewis will present preclinical data demonstrating the anti-depressant and neural plasticity-promoting properties of BETR-001 from both in vitro and in vivo studies, the company said. American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) has announced positive drill results from its initial exploratory subsurface drill program, Phase 1, at its Tonopah Flats Lithium Project in Big Smoky Valley, Nevada. The company said this initial exploratory drilling program consisted of 16 targeted drill holes on ABTC's 10,340 acres of lithium-bearing claims, and was guided by surface sampling results collected in early 2022. ABTC drilled approximately 7,895-feet in this Phase 1 program and based on these results the company intends to further expand these exploration efforts to continue to advance this project. "These initial results are beyond our expectations as they suggest a widespread lithium mineralization that is consistent in both area and depth throughout the sampled materials," ABTC CEO Ryan Melsert said in a statement.

South Star Battery Metals Corp has said it is proceeding with its previously announced share consolidation on the basis of one new post-consolidation common share for five pre-consolidation common shares. Effective at market open on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the company's common shares will commence trading on a post-consolidation basis. The company's name and trading symbol will remain unchanged. The consolidation will reduce the number of common shares issued and outstanding from 102,533,520 to approximately 20,506,704 common shares after rounding adjustments. No fractional common shares will be issued as a result of the consolidation. All fractional shares resulting from the consolidation will be rounded down to the nearest whole number and the fractional share will be cancelled.
