Thor Mining commences new round of drilling at Ragged Range

Thor has an attractive portfolio of exploration assets located in Australia and the USA

Thor Mining PLC (AIM:THR, OTC:THORF, ASX:THR) has commenced a drilling program at its Ragged Range project, located in Eastern Pilbara, Western Australia.

The plan is to conduct around 3,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling.

The drilling is designed to test both structural and geochemical targets along the Sterling prospect, a 13-kilometre gold corridor, defined by robust soil and stream anomalies.

A first phase of drilling was completed in December 2021.

Drilling will also take place at the Krona prospect to test an electromagnetic conductor recently identified beneath the nickel gossan there.

Regional geochemical sampling and mapping will also continue over the Kelly's copper-gold area to the north-east.

"It's exciting to be commencing our second phase of RC drilling at the Sterling prospect, Ragged Range, including drill testing the recently identified EM conductor beneath the nickel gossan, at the Krona Prospect,” said Nicole Galloway Warland, managing director of Thor Mining.

"These are robust geochemical targets associated with key structural features defined by Thor, associated with the regional thrust faulted mafic-ultramafic contact within the Kelly Greenstone Belt.
