Australian Strategic Materials moves Dubbo Project closer to development

Australian Strategic Materials Ltd (ASX:ASM)’s Dave Woodall speaks with Proactive’s Andrew Scott about the Dubbo Project and its move towards development. Woodall explains the company’s relationship with Hyundai and how the latter will play a major role in progressing the feed component of the Dubbo Project and provide engineering, procurement and construction definition work (EPCD). ASM’s managing director also discusses the recent US$15 million subscription agreement with Korean-based KCF Energy, which gives ASM vital equity funding and further develops the relationship between ASM and the consortium. The companies have agreed to negotiate on a non-exclusive basis for investments in ASM, ASMH, KSM Metals Co, Ltd and for a 2,800 5-year offtake agreement for the supply of NdFeB alloy. Finally, Woodall discusses the success of the opening of ASM’s South Korean metals plant and upcoming milestones.
