Sunstone Metals Ltd (ASX:STM)'s Malcolm Norris updates Proactive on a key expansion next to the explorer's El Palmar gold-copper find in Ecuador. On Tuesday, the company announced it had agreed to acquire the Verde Chico Project through a staged acquisition, quadrupling its land position west of El Palmar. Norris says the deal marked an "exceptional opportunity" for Sunstone to secure a large, highly prospective landholding close to the copper-gold discovery. Moving ahead, Sunstone will embark on a systematic exploration program, similar to that at the Bramaderos and El Palmar properties.
