Globex Mining Enterprises Inc has announced that optionee Maple Gold Mines Ltd has completed a Phase 1 drill program of eight holes totalling 4,462 metres (m) to test potential extensions of mineralization along the past-producing Eagle-Telbel trend at its Eagle gold property in Quebec. The company said in a statement that the drilling had identified at least four additional styles of gold mineralization beyond the known Eagle-Telbel style mind historically, providing further indications for multiple gold events that may provide for broader gold distribution than previously interpreted. Highlights from the drill results, as reported by Maple, are an intercept of 4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 7.5m, including 6.4 g/t over 3m within a semi-massive pyrite and iron carbonate horizontal typical of historical Eagle-Telbel style of mineralization.
Sanatana Resources Inc said it has completed the purchase of a gold exploration property in Ontario, as described in the company's news release dated June 3, 2022, having received TSX Venture Exchange approval for the underlying purchase agreement. Sanatana acquired a 100% interest in the Enid property, which comprises 41 mineral claims, in the Timmins, Ontario region. The company paid cash of $10,000; issued 30,000 common shares in the capital of the company and provided a 2% net smelter royalty (NSR). Sanatana may purchase 1% of the NSR for $350,000 and a further 0.5% of the NSR for $500,000 at any time. The shares issued are subject to a hold period expiring October 18, 2022.

Vanstar Mining Resources Inc has welcomed the latest results from ongoing drilling at its Bousquet-Odyno project in Quebec, which it said have underlined the asset's potential. The assays come from seven holes and confirmed that mineralization exists beyond the main zone and continues at depth. One hole hit nine metres (m) starting at 59.5m depth grading 3.96 grams per ton (g/t) gold south-west of the main zone and may indicate a new, higher-grade zone. Vanstar can earn 75% in the Bousquet-Odyno project from major IAMGOLD by spending C$4 million over four years.

Gungnir Resources Inc said it has completed eight holes as the ongoing drill program at its Lappvattnet high-grade nickel project in northern Sweden progresses. Updating investors on the program, Gungnir said since drilling commenced during the first week of May, it has completed holes LAP22-01 to LAP22-08 for 1,130 meters. To date, two shipments of drill core from six holes have been sent to ALS Geochemistry in Mala, Sweden for cutting and assay preparation. A total of 223 samples, including certified standards, blanks and duplicates will then be sent to ALS Geochemistry in Ireland for analysis. Assay results are expected late July or early August, the company added.

Ultra Lithium Inc said it has entered into a definitive agreement with Zangge Mining Investment Co. Ltd for the exploration and development of its 100%-owned Laguna Verde brine lithium project in Argentina’s Catamarca province. Under the terms of the agreement, Ultra Lithium said Zangge will pay it $10 million in staged payments and invest $40 million in the Laguna Verde project as work expenditures in return for a 65% stake in its Ultra Argentina subsidiary, which holds the Laguna Verde property. The company noted that Zangge Mining Investment is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zangge Mining Co, Ltd, a lithium and potassium producer listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of about $8 billion.
Gratomic Inc has announced that production has begun on its first batch of samples expected to be representative of the commercial production from its Aukam plant in Namibia as the company works toward completing a feasibility study on the project. The company said that after it received the bulk sample from the Aukam processing plant, independent laboratory SGS Lakefield performed a series of grinding and flotation stages with the material that replicated the Aukam flowsheet. Three batches returned a combined concentrate grade of 97.4% C(t), meeting the specifications of Gratomic’s tentative technical data sheets for a 97% product.
Fireweed Zinc Ltd has said it is set to start its largest drill program on its flagship Macmillan Pass property in Yukon in the coming weeks. The 8,000 metre program will include step-out and infill drilling at the Boundary and Boundary West zones, and drilling at the Tom and Jason targets. "We are very excited to start our 2022 season. It will be the largest and most ambitious program ever carried out by Fireweed at the Macmillan Pass project,” Gilles Dessureau, vice president of exploration at Fireweed, said in a statement. “We are also excited to use innovative new technologies such as muon tomography and hyperspectral imaging to guide exploration.”

C3 Metals Inc has announced that, for personal reasons, Kevin Tomlinson is stepping down from his role as the company's president and CEO and will also resign as a director of the company, effective June 30, 2022. The company said that Tony Manini, current its chairman of C3 Metals will take up the role of executive chairman to lead the company through to the appointment of a new CEO. It said Tomlinson will assist in the orderly transition of duties as required. C3 Metals noted that drilling on the company's exciting copper-gold exploration projects in Peru and Jamaica is continuing in full swing under the leadership of VP-Exploration, Stephen Hughes. Idaho Champion Gold Mines Canada Inc said it has closed the first tranche of its private placement offering, issuing 11,079,210 units for gross proceeds of C$553,960.50. In total, the non-brokered private placement is for up to 20,000,000 units at a price of C$0.05 per unit for gross proceeds of up to C$1,000,000. Each unit in the placement will consist of one common share and one non-transferable purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of C$0.10 for a period of 24 months from the date of issue. The company said the proceeds of the financing will be used for the funding of an exploration program at its cobalt projects in Idaho, USA, and for general working capital purposes.

Lion Copper and Gold Corp said it has completed the first tranche of its previously-announced, non-brokered private placement of unsecured convertible debentures, raising gross proceeds of US$1,075,000. The resource projects developer said proceeds of the offering will be applied to fund the return of the US$1 million deposit to Desert Pearl Farms and the balance will be used for general working capital. Lion Copper and Gold noted the debentures bear interest at the rate of 14% per annum and mature on February 17, 2024, but may be converted into shares of the company at US$0.067 per share until June 17, 2023, and at US$0.078 per share thereafter.
South Star Battery Metals Corp has said it is repricing its previously announced non-brokered private placement of units to raise approximately C$2,000,000 in order to better reflect the current market conditions for common shares of the Company. On a pre-consolidation basis, the offering will be repriced from C$0.15 per unit to C$0.11 per unit and consist of approximately 18,181,818 units. Gratomic Inc said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing a licence purchase agreement dated April 8, 2022, between the company and arm's-length vendors, under which Gratomic will acquire 100% of the rights and interests in and to the properties known as the Jacobina prospect and the Igrapiuna prospect, located in the state of Bahia in Brazil. Under the agreement, to acquire the property, the company has agreed to issue 1,262,865 common shares at a deemed price of $1.40 per share and pay $100,000 to the vendors on closing. Some of the shares will be subject to resale restrictions, as further described in the company's news release dated June 13, 2022.
