Elon Musk has again tweeted his support for the Dogecoin cryptocurrency just days after he was landed with a US$258bn writ alleging it was an elaborate "pyramid scheme".
A series of tweets over the weekend said he would continue to support DOGE and keep buying the coin.

Dogecoin co-creator Billy Markus was also tweeting over the weekend, saying he wanted DOGE to be used for more than pump and dump trading speculation.
Musk tweeted that Tesla and SpaceX already accept DOGE for a few items of merchandise, though not any of Tesla’s EVs, but he said the range might be expanded.

The cryptocurrency has shed more than 90% of its value from its high of May 2021 and the lawsuit wants Musk to reimburse investors who have lost money through buying the crypto.
