Andromeda Metals Ltd (ASX:ADN) has appointed a new non-executive director to boost the company’s commercial, accounting and financial expertise.
Independent director Austen Perrin joins the team with more than 35 years of experience in corporate and financial roles.
Perrin also brings a breadth of knowledge across the transport, logistics, infrastructure and mining spheres to the ADN board.
The new director kickstarted his career with Big Four accountant KPMG and has since held leadership roles at AJ Lucas Group Ltd (ASX:AJL), Toll NZ, Whitehaven Coal, Asciano and Pacific National.
Perrin holds a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from Macquarie University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Commenting on the new appointment, Andromeda chair Mick Wilkes said the company was pleased to welcome Austen Perrin to the board.
“Austen will bring significant financial experience, expertise and leadership to Andromeda with his skills and experience complementing the current board,” Wilkes explained.
Beyond his role at Andromeda, Perrin currently serves as a non-executive director at AJ Lucas Group and Round Oak Minerals.
