Thesis Gold Inc (TSX-V:TAU) has outlined its plans for a fully-funded exploration program at its Ranch project in the 'Golden Horseshoe' of British Columbia, which has now started, and will include 50,000 metres (m) of diamond drilling.
The work is also set to involve ground magnetic surveys covering 8.7 square kilometres and the taking of up to 4,000 soil samples.
"We are extremely excited to begin this major 50,000-metre drilling campaign," Ewan Webster, Thesis CEO, told investors in a statement. "Our group has evaluated all datasets collected last year and the technical team has developed many prospective targets that will be drill-tested in the coming months."
"Given the successes of last year's maiden drill program, we are confident that additional discoveries are probable this season and we look forward to communicating our progress as the program advances and sharing results as they become available," he added.

Currently, Thesis is completing camp upgrades so it can increase capacity to four core drilling rigs and to house extra staff for follow-up surface work.
Of the 50,000m of drilling, some will target 2021 discovery zones and along-strike extensions at the Thesis II, Thesis III, Bingo, and JK areas, as well as extending other areas of known mineralization at Bonanza and Ridge.
It will also target anomalous areas generated during last year's surface exploration program, including kilometre-scale epithermal and porphyry targets at the Alberts Hump and Patti-Steve zones, said Thesis.
An expansive mapping program is also planned as well as "sizeable" soil and rock grab sampling programs.
Up to 4,000 soil samples are planned to expand on existing anomalies and generate additional epithermal and porphyry drill targets, while around 500 rock grab samples are planned in conjunction with detailed bedrock mapping.
The company's Ranch gold project is a road-accessible, 178 square kilometre gold-silver-copper project in the prolific Golden Horseshoe area of north-central British Columbia, Canada.
