Chesapeake Financial Shares Inc, the parent company of Chesapeake Bank, announced in its second-quarter shareholder letter that EVP of Retail Services Dianne Hall is retiring after 42 years with the company, among other news. Hall helped Chesapeake make American Banker’s list of the top 200 community banks for fifteen consecutive years. The list, based on return on equity, placed Chesapeake Bank at 130 in 2021.

Doré Copper Mining Corp announced that further to its news releases dated May 10, 2022, it has filed a technical report titled "Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Chibougamau Hub-and-Spoke Complex, Quebec, Canada," in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. A copy of the technical report is available on the company's profile on SEDAR at www.sedar.com and on the company's website at https://www.dorecopper.com. The Technical Report focuses on the results of the PEA, which includes the Corner Bay, Devlin, and Joe Mann projects feeding the company's centralized Copper Rand mill, all located in the vicinity of Chibougamau, Quebec.

Deep-South Resources Inc has reported that the company's legal counsels have filed on June 15, 2022 its response to the defense affidavit of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Namibia. Due to the sudden death of John Akwenye, who was the named signatory of all the company's affidavits, Deep South had requested an extension to file the response affidavit by today (June 15), the firm noted. A case management hearing will be held on June 23, 2022, which serves to prepare for a final hearing. The company said it will provide "regular updates in this regard and any other matter concerning this situation".

Sidus Space Inc, the Space-as-a-Service company, announced it is part of the Collins Aerospace team that was awarded NASA’s Exploration Extravehicular Activity (xEVAS) services $3.5 billion contract. The xEVAS program is expected to include the design, development, production, hardware processing, and sustainment of an integrated Extravehicular Activity (EVA) capability that includes a new Spacesuit and ancillary hardware, such as Vehicle Interface Equipment and EVA tools, Sidus said in a statement.

NEO Battery Materials Ltd announced that it has signed a collaboration agreement with South Korea’s Applied Carbon Nano Technology Ltd (ACN), which establishes strategic cooperation to further advance NEO’s pending patent related to carbon nanotube (CNT) coating technology for silicon anode materials. The battery metals and technology developer said it will collaborate with ACN to expand mutual business opportunities in the electric vehicle (EV) industry including the CNT conductive additive market that is experiencing accelerated growth.

Valeo Pharma Inc has posted second-quarter revenue of C$4.8 million, an 80% year-over-year increase, on the back of strong sequential growth of its three transformative products Redesca, Enerzair and Atectura. The Kirkland, Quebec-headquartered pharmaceutical company said higher revenues from new branded products and improvement in product mix contributed to the 134% growth in gross margin to C$1.7 million for the quarter ended April 30, 2022, compared with C$700,000 a year ago. "Our second quarter 2022 results and other key performance indicators are confirming the strong commercial progress of our three lead brands, Redesca, Enerzair and Atectura,” said Steve Saviuk, Valeo's CEO in a statement.

Looking Glass Labs (LGL) said it achieved C$6.9 million in total revenues for the first nine months of its 2022 fiscal year. The Vancouver-based digital platform, which is engaged in the design, development and sale of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), said it ended the period to April 30, 2022, with total assets of C$13.9 million, up from $2.42 million as of July 31, 2021. This was mainly attributable to changes in goodwill, intangible assets, digital assets, and cash and cash equivalents, it added. “We received passive revenue from royalties on our previously sold NFTs while focusing significant effort on the marketing of LGL’s GenZeroes roadmap into the summer months,” LGL CEO Dorian Banks said in a statement. “I am excited about the future of the company and the projects that our talented team has under development.”

AMPD Ventures Inc has said its AMPD Technologies Inc subsidiary has entered into a binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Unleash Future Boats GmbH (UFB) as part of an anticipated broader collaborative relationship between the two companies. Under the MOU, which will bring in revenue of C$1.8 million, AMPD Technologies will develop and manufacture four Computing Containers which will be shipped to Schleswig-Holstein in Germany to commence “Proof of Concept” trials on a government-approved 42-kilometer test field for autonomous ships. The company said the agreement marks an exciting new vertical for AMPD Technologies in the zero-emission, autonomous, maritime vessel market. The global autonomous ships market size was estimated to be worth US$5.8 billion in 2020 and is projected to reach US$14.2 billion by 2030, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.3% from 2020 to 2030.

Trees Corporation said it has opened its newest branded storefront at 695 Alpha St. in Victoria, British Columbia. "The Alpha Street opening marks the fifth Trees-branded location on Vancouver Island, allowing the Trees brand to serve an even larger part of the community," Michael Klein, chief executive officer of the company said in a statement. "We are extremely proud of the entire Trees team and thrilled to have the Alpha Street location join our expanding retail footprint." Trees currently licenses the Trees brand to 1015712 B.C. Ltd. (101), the owner and operator of the Trees-branded stores in British Columbia in exchange for a royalty pending the closing of an asset purchase transaction between Trees and 101 which will occur following the satisfaction of certain conditions precedent, including regulatory approval, the company said.

Tocvan Ventures Corp said it has executed a binding term sheet in connection with a proposed financing for C$5,125,000.00 with a UK institutional investor, the terms of which will be announced once all due diligence has been completed, which is expected by June 30, 2022. The company has agreed to pay a refundable due diligence deposit of C$75,000 via the issuance of 81,522 common shares of the company at a deemed issue price of $0.92 per common share. The deposit shares, and the securities to be issued pursuant to the proposed financing, will distributed to an institutional investor in the United Kingdom under Ontario Securities Commission Rule 72-503 - Distributions Outside Canada and, as such, will not be subject to a statutory hold period in accordance with applicable securities laws. "Over the last year it has been our goal to align with an institutional investor that sees the potential of our Sonora projects and wants to be part of our next stage of growth," commented Brodie Sutherland, the company's CEO in a statement.

Recruiter.com Group Inc has said it is partnering with networking firm Professional Diversity Network Inc to help encourage diversity hiring in the workplace. Professional Diversity Network, or PDN, is a global developer and operator of online and in-person networks that provides access to networking, training, and educational and employment opportunities for diverse individuals. The partnership will focus on providing diversity recruiting solutions to employers and support hiring initiatives for women, minorities, veterans, LGBTQ+, and disabled persons, according to the companies. "Diversity recruitment is a critical component of modern talent acquisition," said Evan Sohn, CEO of Recruiter.com said in a statement.

Cypress Development Corp said the ongoing feasibility study at its Clayton Valley lithium project in Nevada is proceeding well and remains on track for completion in late 2022. The study is being carried out under the direction of Wood PLC and Global Resource Engineering. Activity highlights include on-site visits to collect geotechnical data and testing at Cypress’ Pilot Plant in the Amargosa Valley located 100 miles southeast of the lithium project.

Predictmedix Inc said it has secured a revenue-generating deployment of its Safe Entry Stations at the De Beers Forevermark Forum 2022 in Mumbai, India, from June 29 to July 1, 2022. The rapid health screening solutions company said the Safe Entry Stations will be utilized to screen both guests and staff for signs and symptoms of infectious diseases such as coronavirus (COVID-19). It said the repeat commercial placement was secured through its South Asia partner, Entertainment Bay, which focuses on serving the live event market and seeks high-visibility event placements for the Safe Entry Station.

The Good Shroom Company Inc said it has expanded its contract with the Government of Quebec, which has accepted more cannabis products to be sold in stores across the province beginning this September. The cannabis and beverage products company, which through its licensed subsidiary Teonan Biomedical Inc operates the Nordique Royale and Velada cannabis brands, said it has also increased its product offering in Ontario beginning this October. In line with its continued mission of cannabis product innovation, the company said it has doubled its current listing of products in Quebec with more traditional hash and hash-infused products. It noted that the Quebec cannabis market is the largest in Canada estimated to be over $650 million in sales.

Mednow Inc, Canada's on-demand virtual pharmacy, has said it achieved record third-quarter 2022 financial results, beating guidance. The company reported revenue of $6.14 million for the three months ended April 30, 2022, a 225% quarter-over-quarter improvement, which it attributed mainly to sales from its retail pharmacy operating segment. Year-over-year, revenue was up 4,800%. Mednow also announced that Ali Reyhany, currently a director, president and chairman of its board, has been selected to replace Karim Nassar, as its CEO effective today, June 15, 2022.

Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd told investors it has reached another milestone as it has now manufactured its first graphene aluminium-ion batteries (G+Al) battery pouch cells while its Battery Development Centre (BDC) was now fully operational. The clean-tech group is advancing energy-saving and energy storage solutions, enabled by graphene, and in collaboration with the University of Queensland and the Australian Government, is carrying out research and development (R&D) and commercializing graphene aluminium-ion batteries (G+AI batteries). "The commissioning of our pouch cell manufacturing equipment is another important milestone for GMG," said GMG's CEO Craig Nicol in a statement.

Plurilock Security Inc announced that its wholly-owned Aurora Systems Consulting Inc subsidiary has received purchase orders from several organizations in May 2022, totalling US$2,011,073. The identity-centric cybersecurity company said the series of orders demonstrates its continued sales growth across key industry verticals. Plurilock noted that many of the orders received are part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Solution for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) program, a US Government-Wide Acquisition Contract Vehicle (GWAC), and align with the company’s stated goal of expanding within the government and defense verticals.

BANXA Holdings Inc, a leading global web3 fiat on-ramp and off-ramp solution provider, has announced key launches as part of its strategic roadmap to release more features in more markets globally. In May, the company officially launched its payments provisions in Turkey making BANXA the only on/off ramp operating in this market directly. Braxia Scientific Corp has announced the opening of its newest Braxia Health clinic in the Kitchener-Waterloo area in Ontario, its fifth location in Canada. The medical research company said its group of clinics, led by top researchers in depression Dr Roger McIntyre and Dr Joshua Rosenblat, provide patients greater access to Braxia's network of physicians, specialists and researchers delivering innovative, rapid acting treatments like intravenous (IV) and oral ketamine, and psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and other mental health disorders. “Today's announcement is the first of what we intend to be a series of growth developments and acquisitions to our clinical network,” Braxia Scientific CEO Roger McIntyre said in a statement.

Nevada Silver Corporation has revealed several new “high-priority" drill targets for its Belmont silver project in Nevada. The targets were identified from a recent geophysical survey conducted on the property – the first significant exploration to be undertaken at Belmont in over a century, according to Toronto-based Nevada Silver. The survey identified a large "elephant"-shaped anomaly with multiple untested targets of potential sulphide mineralization that will be drill-tested in the coming weeks, the firm said.

BioVaxys Technology Corp announced that its clinical study collaborator Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL) in France has surgically excised the first ovarian cancer tumors from patients for use in the production of the company’s ovarian cancer vaccine, BVX-0918. The tumors will be used for process development and manufacturing "dry runs" of the vaccine, which is a major step leading to the completion of Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) production. BioVaxys recently entered collaborations with HCL and Deaconess Research Institute in the US to obtain surgically debulked tumors from Stage 3/Stage 4 ovarian cancer patients. Tumor samples from both hospitals are being used by BioVaxys' Lyon-based manufacturing partner, BioElpida, in order to validate the tumor collection protocol, cryopackaging, cryopreservation and supply chain logistics for BVX-0918 bioproduction for prospective patients in the US and European Union, the company said.

Fabled Copper Corp has announced further results from last year's surface field work on its Muskwa copper project in British Columbia, this time from the Bronson property. Here, at the Book 6 vein, a total of 113 rock samples and 11 grab samples, (seven float samples and 95 chip samples), were collected along the exposed veining and surrounding areas. The firm said 12 sections were chip sampled along 68 metres (m). Nine of the 12 sections averaged between 0.13% and 0.47% copper, across widths of between 0.65m and 1.4m.

Alternus Energy PLC has unveiled the Alternus Sustainable Arts Initiative to encourage emerging artists to consider and communicate sustainability through art. Established this year, the company said the initiative is part of its policy to foster sustainability in the arts by supporting artists and providing them with a platform to share their work with an international audience. It added that under an initial programme, artists were tasked with creating art from recycled or repurposed materials in a competition, with the winning artists receiving a financial reward, and all submitted artwork displayed in Alternus' office and select partner offices around the world.

Usha Resources Ltd has said it has closed the final tranche of its previously announced non-brokered private placement issuing an additional 4,512,007 units at a price of $0.30 per unit for total gross proceeds of $1,353,602. In total, Usha Resources said, it raised gross proceeds of $2,895,401 in all four tranches of the private placement. In a statement, Deepak Varshney, CEO of Usha Resources said: “Given the current market conditions, completion of this oversubscribed placement speaks to the strong demand and growing confidence in our team, our Lithium, Gold-Copper and Nickel projects, and future vision for where we intend to take this company."

Reunion Gold Corp said it has entered into a revised agreement with Sprott Capital Partners, on behalf of a syndicate of underwriters, to increase the size of the previously announced bought deal private placement financing to an aggregate purchase price of $30.3 million, up from an initial $20 million. Under the amendment, the underwriters have agreed to purchase 115.5 million units of the company at a price of 26 cents per unit. The other terms of the offering, including the overallotment option, remain unchanged from the company's news release dated June 14, 2022. Each unit will consist of one common share of the company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one common share at an exercise price of 39 cents for a period of 24 months following the closing of the offering.

Vicinity Motor Corp said it has completed the extension of the maturity date of its 8% unsecured debenture in the principal amount of C$10,300,000 by a further year to October 4, 2023. In consideration for the extension, the company has issued to the debt holders (on a pro-rata basis), 1,000,000 share purchase warrants exercisable until October 4, 2023, at an exercise price of $2.25 per common share. The new warrants will bear a four-month and one-day restricted period from the date of issuance. 412,000 share purchase warrants dated October 4, 2021, that were issued in connection with the original debt issuance, have been cancelled as part of the debt extension. Hawkmoon Resources Corp has announced that its common shares are now eligible for electronic clearing and settlement in the United States through the Depository Trust Company (DTC). DTC eligibility is expected to simplify the process of trading and enhance liquidity of Hawkmoon shares in the United States. The company's shares recently began trading on the OTCQB Venture Market under the ticker symbol HWKRF. Securities that are eligible to be electronically cleared and settled through DTC are considered to be "DTC eligible". Wishpond Technologies Ltd said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted a notice filed by the company of its intention to make a Normal Course Issuer Bid (NCIB) to be transacted through the facilities of the exchange. The company said its board of directors believes that, at times, the market price of the company's common shares does not properly reflect the underlying value of the company. As such, depending upon future price movements and other factors, the board believes that the purchase of the shares would be a desirable use of corporate funds in the best interests of the company and its shareholders.
