Osino Resources (TSX-V:OSI) Corp has released encouraging drill results from the Twin Hills West (THW) area of its flagship Twin Hills gold property in central Namibia, which augur well for the next resource estimate for the project.
The aim of the drill program is to grow the THW resource and convert it to the higher confidence indicated category to be included in the upcoming Twin Hills pre-feasibility study (PFS).
"The current resource conversion drill program at THW continues to produce very promising assay results, including a very high-grade shoot which has now been intersected twice returning 5m at 10.11g/t and 7m at 7.94g/t (previously reported)," noted Osino's vice-president of exploration Dave Underwood in a statement.
"The next Twin Hills gold project resource estimate should see an increased contribution from the THW area in terms of grade and tonnage."

"Mineralization is still open along strike and down dip and there is plenty of scope for new discoveries in the area, which will be targeted with ongoing exploration program after the Twin Hills Gold Project PFS has been published in a few months’ time," Underwood added.
The THW area sits 3km along strike to the southwest of the Bulge and Twin Hills Central (THC) areas and among the highlights of the latest infill and step-out drilling was 28m at 1.64 grams per ton (g/t) gold, starting from 103m depth and 5m at 0.69 g/t from 202m depth in one hole.
Another hole hit 27m at 1.06 g/t gold from 153m depth, including 12m at 1.65 g/t.
A resource estimate announced in April this year for Twin Hills showed 2.1 million ounces (Moz) of gold in the indicated category and 0.62 Moz in inferred. The THW area contributed 0.23 Moz of this inferred resource.
Since the cut-off date for drill assays used in the last resource estimate, a total of 21,456m of drilling from 107 holes has been completed at THW, noted Osino.
Osino is a Canadian gold explorer focused on the advanced exploration stage Twin Hills gold project in Namibia. The firm has a large ground position of around 6,700 square kilometres (sq km) within Namibia’s prospective Damara sedimentary belt, mostly near and along strike of the producing Navachab and Otjikoto gold mines.
