Ergomed PLC (AIM:ERGO, ETR:2EM) said Anne Whitaker will join its board as an independent non-executive director after the pharmaceutical industry service provider’s AGM on Friday.
She has worked across the pharmaceutical, biotech and speciality pharma sectors for 30 years including in senior executives roles at Sanofi, GlaxoSmithKline and Synta Pharmaceuticals.
Most recently Whitaker was chief executive of Aerami Therapeutics, a private life science company, as well as being a non-executive director at many UK-listed healthcare companies.
Whitaker, who is still on the board of a number of global biopharmaceutical companies, is a recognised biopharma industry influencer, advisor and leader, Ergomed said, having received many awards from PharmaVoice, Women Inc and Fierce Pharma.
"I believe that her global network and deep understanding of the pharmaceutical services industry will support the continued growth and strategic development of Ergomed's CRO and PV businesses internationally,” Miroslav Reljanović, executive chairman, commented.
