Western Magnesium Corp CEO Sam Ataya joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has announced success in the production of magnesium metal at its commercial pilot plant. Ataya telling Proactive its proprietary continuous reactor is operating as designed, maintaining target temperature and pressure while allowing for continuous feed, discharge, and magnesium production. Ataya also told Proactive the company plans to begin construction of this full-scale facility in the United States next year and will produce more than 100,000 metric tons a year. This plant will have the capacity to produce 10 percent of the world's current supply of magnesium metal.
