Supermarket Income REIT PLC relishing increased liquidity that will result from FTSE 250 inclusion

Supermarket Income REIT PLC relishing increased liquidity that will result from FTSE 250 inclusion

Steven Noble, the chief investment officer (CIO) for Supermarket Income REIT PLC (LSE:SUPR, OTC:SUPIF), explains to Proactive’s Katie Pilbeam the significance of the company’s inclusion in the FTSE 250 Index and the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global Real Estate Index Series.

Noble said inclusion in these widely followed indices should increase the liquidity of Supermarket Income’s stock, which has been a strategic objective of the company, as evidenced by its move to the premium segment of the Official List, which paved the way for the stock’s inclusion in the two indices.

The company raised £300mln back in April to spend on its bulging pipeline of opportunities. The CIO said the company is in the process of doing final due diligence of several possible acquisitions.
