Supermarket Income REIT PLC (LSE:SUPR, OTC:SUPIF) has confirmed it will be included in the London Stock Exchange’s FTSE 250 index following the latest quarterly reshuffle.
The trust will also be included in the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global Real Estate Index Series, it said in a statement.
SUPR floated in July 2017, when it raised £100mln to acquire supermarkets let to the major grocery chains such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.
Its strategy is to acquire stores on long leases that are omnichannel, fulfilling online and in-person sales.
At the close of trading yesterday, the trust was valued at £1.63bn with a portfolio comprising 67 sites, 41 of which are directly owned and 26 through joint ventures.
