ECR Minerals PLC (AIM:ECR) said follow-up drilling at the HR3 prospect of its Bailieston gold project in Australia returned four high-grade intercepts.
Highlights from hole BH3DD034 included 0.3 metres (m) at 20.34 grammes a tonne (g/t) gold from a depth of 18.2m at Zone 1; 0.65m at 13.02 g/t gold from 54.2m at Zone 2; 0.3m at 10.59 g/t gold from 97.9m at Zone 3; and 0.25m at 45.0 g/t gold from 149.2m at Zone 4.
The visible gold at 149.2m was announced in March.

“There is a palpable sense of excitement at ECR Minerals as the intensive drilling campaign across our Victoria assets is now, despite the delays in assay processing, yielding consistently high gold grades,” said chairman David Tang.
“This exceptional result today and the continuity of grade between Zone 2 and Zone 3 could well indicate a significant find.”
Hole BH3DD034 was one of four holes completed as follow-up drilling to hole BH3DD019, where four mineralised ‘zones’ were identified down-hole. Assay results are pending for complementary adjacent drillholes BH3DD032, BH3DD033 and BH3DD035.
