KEFI Gold and Copper PLC advancing on three fronts

KEFI Gold and Copper PLC advancing on three fronts

KEFI Gold and Copper PLC (AIM:KEFI, OTC:KFFLF) executive chairman Harry Adams walks Proactive's Katie Pilbeam through the exploration and development company’s full-year results and its plans for the future.

KEFI has spent around £70mln developing its assets since the company listed in 2006, and the net present value of its three development projects is now just under £400mln, so 'the company has added a lot of value, albeit this has yet to be reflected in the stock market’s valuation of the company', he says.

Adams expects the valuation discrepancy should narrow as the company passes a number of milestones, the most prominent of which is probably securing finance for the Tulu Kapi mine in Ethiopia.

Meanwhile, KEFI is advancing development studies on the Jibal Qutman Gold Project, progressing the pre-feasibility study for the Hawiah Copper-Gold Project and is testing exploration targets in Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia, as it progresses towards becoming a profitable gold producer.
