Blencowe Resources PLC (LSE:BRES)’s chief executive officer, Mike Ralston, explains to Proactive’s Katie Pilbeam why he is “very excited” about the final metallurgical test work results from the Orom-Cross graphite project in Uganda.
The results revealed a low level of impurities, which will play well with “the battery applications that we are looking to sell most of our products into,” Ralston said, as it will reduce the costs of purifying the end product. The flake graphite concentrate also demonstrated many other attributes that will make it easier for the company to market its product to traditional and advanced graphite applications including both primary and secondary battery markets.
Ralston said the company had “pretty much scored a home run” with every one of the key metrics end users would be looking at.
