Gfinity PLC (AIM:GFIN) and Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management said this year’s V10 R-League (virtual racing) will end with a two day final at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.
Miral Group, Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi Gaming are the new commercial partners for the competition with a £100,000 prize pool.
The e-sports and gaming solutions provider’s proprietary technology, Race Control, will be used by all the major teams taking part in the R-League and in F1 e-sports.
Mercedes, Aston Martin, Red Bull, Ford, Suzuki Jean Alesi, Team Redline, R8G Grosjean, BMW Motorsport, Williams Esports and the Abu Dhabi based Yas Heat Team will all take part.
Extensive coverage of all races in June and July are being aired on BT Sport and free digital channels, as well as live streams on YouTube, Facebook and various driver Twitch channels. Over 2,000 gaming fans are expected to watch each day
