Seeing Machines has picked up a tenth carmaking customer for its FOVIO Driver Monitoring System (DMS).
The customer, an unnamed European group, will install the Seeing Machines system in certain models from early 2024, with the contract worth an initial A$27mln (£17.2mln).
Seeing Machines added that with this contract it has now won a total of 13 automotive programs spanning 10 individual original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), covering more than 110 distinct vehicle models.
The cumulative initial lifetime value of all Seeing Machines automotive OEM programs now stands at A$372mln.
Nick DiFiore, senior vice president of Seeing Machine’s automotive division, said: "Building on our recent momentum in Europe, this win is further affirmation of our strategy and ability to build share globally across the full range of the DMS/OMS market.
"It is also important to note that in terms of market position, we are achieving this with an increasing Tier-1 partner base who are committed to Seeing Machines technology and the interior sensing market."
