Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd has strengthened its gaming portfolio with the acquisition of Notre Game s.r.o. and Darewise Entertainment.
Notre Game is a game development and publishing company known for Scratch Wars, the innovative hybrid physical-digital collectible card mobile game.
Darewise Entertainment is a game developer founded by veterans of the AAA games industry that is currently developing the high-quality blockchain MMO Life Beyond.
What is on the cards?
With the Note Game acquisition, Animoca Brands is working to bring to market Scratch Lords, a new and innovative collectible card mobile game based on the success and game mechanics of Scratch Wars but with updated features including NFT integration and trading scheduled to launch in the September quarter.
Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu said: “We were impressed by the innovation and boldness that Notre Game demonstrated with its physical-virtual hybrid game model.
“The company has a solid team with strong leadership and the kind of experience and mindset that we are looking for in our mission to contribute to the establishment of the open metaverse.”
With Darewise, Animoca Brands will assist in the fast-track development and publishing of its first game Life Beyond into the Web3 space
The collaboration between Animoca Brands and Darewise Entertainment will facilitate planned growth, accelerate game development and combine expert AAA video game development with blockchain integration, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and play-and-earn capabilities.
What is in store for Notre Game?
As part of Animoca Brands, Notre Game will be able to expand its products to the global market and access the considerable networks, resources and know-how within the wider Animoca Brands group.

Darewise Entertainment’s first game, Life Beyond, is in development. It is a fast-paced and ever-evolving modern persistent massively multiplayer online game set on Dolos, a fascinating alien world where players will create and foster a new society in which social behaviours and technology will determine success.
