Hydrix Ltd (ASX:HYD)’s Gavin Coote speaks with Proactive’s Ky Chow about the MedTech’s new multi-million deal with Realheart, which is developing the world’s first four chamber total artificial heart, designed to mimic the natural technology. Hydrix will help RealHeart develop the external controller device for the heart. Coote says the agreement affirms Hydrix’s global credentials of being at the forefront of frontier technology to manage cardiovascular technologies in the future. Coote also speaks to the sales growth of Hydrix’s services business which is starting to get back to pre-COVID levels and the growth coming outside of Australia as well as further milestones subject to regulatory approvals. Coote recently said, “Hydrix Services first half year-on-year client revenue growth of +40%, coupled with a healthy qualified sales pipeline and client contract wins such as Scandinavian Realheart, strengthens the company’s outlook entering FY2023.”
