Xpediator PLC (AIM:XPD) has appointed a new top-level management team with a review of the logistics and freight forwarding business to be their first task.
Gillian Wilmot is the new independent non-executive interim chairman, while Mike Stone becomes interim CEO for a six-month period.
In a statement, Wilmot said: “All aspects of the business will be reviewed, a plan agreed and then executed.
“The results of the review will be shared with shareholders in due course."
Wilmot, who is also currently chair of ZOO Digital (AIM:ZOO) Group PLC and has a long career in B2B and B2C businesses, replaces another interim appointment, Rob Riddleston, who is staying on as a non-executive director.
Riddleston became interim chairman in March following the resignation of Mark Whiteling and deputy chair and founder Stephen Blyth.
Mike Stone takes over from Wim Pauwels, who had been interim CEO since November.
Stone, who previously worked as managing director of Quadient's UK operations and chief operating officer of DX Group, said: "Joining Xpediator at this time is an exciting opportunity and I very much look forward to contributing to the leadership of the company."
In another top-level board change, Richard Myson starts today as (permanent) chief financial officer. He previously worked for the company as CFO between 2016 and 2018.
