Bloom Health Partners Inc has posted unaudited second-quarter results in its fiscal year 2022 that saw its revenue jump 92.1% year-over-year as it grew its business rapidly and scaled operations efficiently. For the three-month period ended March 31, 2022, the Vancouver-based provider of operational health and health technology reported unaudited revenue of $11.1 million, nearly double the amount reported in its fiscal second quarter of 2021. The company has logged year-to-date revenue of $16.9 million for the first half of its fiscal year 2022. Bloom Health reported EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of $2.1 million.

Plurilock Security Inc. received a “Buy” recommendation and $1 price target from analysts at Leede Jones Gable after posting skyrocketing first quarter revenue this year. For the three months ended March 31, 2022, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based cybersecurity solutions provider reported C$6,953,052 in revenue, compared to revenue of C$75,761 a year earlier. Hardware and systems sales revenue made up 93.4% of the revenue figure this quarter, in stark contrast to no hardware and systems sales revenue being recorded in the comparable period a year earlier. “The increase in total revenue was primarily attributable to revenue generated by the Solutions Division from Aurora Systems and Integra Networks,” the Leede Jones Gable analysts said in a note to clients.

Perk Labs Inc said it has signed a letter of intent with SoyTalk Dessert Inc under which it will build SoyTalk a custom branded app. The company, which is helping restaurants transition to the digital economy through its Perk Hero platform, also said it has received interest from many other restaurants. "We are more than thrilled to work with the great management at SoyTalk on building a powerful custom branded app for their establishment featuring ordering, payment and loyalty, that will help them directly connect with their customers," Perk's interim VP of sales, Justin Strange said in a statement.

VolitionRx Limited said its Nu.Q NETs test has been CE marked for the detection and evaluation of NETosis, enabling clinical use in over 27 countries across Europe. NETosis is a unique form of cell death characterized by the release of neutrophil extracellular traps, composed of decondensed chromatin, that trap and kill bacteria and viral particles. Although NETs play an important role in our immune system, excessive production can lead to tissue damage and, in severe cases, sepsis, shock, and death, the company said. "NETosis has become a huge focus for medics in recent years, given elevated levels of NETs are associated with poor patient outcomes in a range of diseases, such as COVID-19, but also including sepsis and cancer,” Jake Micallef, chief scientific officer at Volition said in a statement.

PharmaDrug Inc said it has agreed to sell its German medical cannabis distributing subsidiary Pharmadrug Production GmbH to Khiron Life Sciences Corp in exchange for 5,500,000 common shares of Khiron and a non-interest bearing promissory note in the principal amount of $1.1 million, payable one year from the date of issue. Pharmadrug Production has a Schedule I European Union narcotics license and German EuGMP certification allowing for the importation and distribution of medical cannabis to pharmacies in Germany and throughout the European Union. "We are excited to be entering into this transaction with Khiron as it is a major step towards the company's shift into a pure-play biotech strategy,” said Daniel Cohen, the company's chairman and CEO in a statement.

Lumina Gold Corp has announced new results from 13 drill holes at its Cangrejos project in Ecuador. Highlights of the results included 0.82 grams per ton (g/t) gold equivalent over 336 metres from surface, including 1.12 g/t gold equivalent over 60 metres and 1.68 g/t gold equivalent over 12 metres from the Gran Bestia target. As a result, Lumina said it plans to increase its drill program at Gran Bestia by 4,000 metres, totalling 6,750 metres.

FSD Pharma Inc has announced that it has submitted Investigation New Drug applications to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Health Canada for its planned Phase 2 clinical trial of FSD-201 for the treatment of a yet-to-be-disclosed inflammatory disorder. The biotech noted that FSD-201, its proprietary formulation of ultra micronized palmitoylethanolamide, or ultramicronized PEA, was shown to be safe and well-tolerated during a Phase 1 clinical trial. In a statement, FSD Pharma president Zeeshan Saeed said the submissions to the FDA and Health Canada for FSD-201 represented a significant milestone in the company's drug development efforts.

Tartisan Nickel Corp announced that it has started environmental baseline studies at the Kenbridge nickel project in northwestern Ontario. The Toronto-based firm retained Knight Piesold Consulting and Blue Heron Environmental to carry out the time-sensitive studies, it said in a statement. According to Tartisan, spring 2022 environmental baseline studies are “critical” to the advancement of the project and the permitting and approvals process for Kenbridge.

Blue Sky Uranium Corp announced that it received consent from the TSX Venture Exchange to extend the expiry date of nearly 25 million warrants issued as part of a private placement to June 11 2023. The warrants can be exercised at a price of $0.30 per share. The original expiry date was June 11, 2020, which was previously extended to June 11, 2022.

Silverton Metals Corp has announced that Killian Ruby will be stepping down as chief financial officer of the company, effective June 15. Ruby's replacement will be announced in due course, the company siad. Silverton also thanked Ruby for his services.

Outlook Therapeutics Inc said it has voluntarily withdrawn the biologics license application (BLA) for its ophthalmic formulation of bevacizumab (ONS-5010 or Lytenava) after the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requested additional information. The company added that it is actively working to respond to the FDA’s request and plans to resubmit a revised BLA by September. Outlook previously submitted its BLA to the FDA in March 2022, based on a compilation of the data from its previously completed clinical trials – NORSE ONE, NORSE TWO and NORSE THREE.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd has reported strong revenue growth for fiscal 2Q as its brand Glacial Gold outsold competing brands across two product categories in British Columbia. For the three months ended March 31, 2022, the company reported revenue of $1,145,000 compared to $131,000 for the same period in 2021. The company said during the quarter, it sold more vapes and oils in British Columbia than its competitors, including Canopy Growth, Tilray Brands, Aurora Cannabis, Organigram, Sundial, and Medipharm Labs.

Great Atlantic Resources Corp said it has received assays for drill samples from its fall 2021 diamond drilling program at the Otter Brook gold showing in the east of its Golden Promise gold project in Newfoundland. The assays come from the first nine holes of the 12-hole program, with four holes exceeding 1 gram per ton (g/t) gold, including 4.95 g/t over 0.50 metres (m) in one hole. The company said its management interpret "at least four gold-bearing veins/structures to have been intersected during the drilling program based on depths and locations of the intersections".

SPYR Technologies Inc said it has entered a material definitive agreement to acquire GeoTraq Inc, a company developing and manufacturing self-contained and ultra-small Mobile IoT (Internet of Things) modules for asset tracking, location-based services and remote monitoring, the company announced. The company is buying GeoTraq from Nasdaq-traded JanOne Inc. GeoTrraq’s modules are plug-and-play and include turnkey connectivity to cloud services using GeoTraq's proprietary cloud-based WebTraq platform.

Golden Shield Resources Inc revealed new assay results from the initial seven holes of its 11 hole, 3,100-metre Phase 2 drill program at its flagship Marudi Mountain gold project in southwestern Guyana. Highlights from the results include 7.58 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 31 metres and 4.95 g/t gold over 10 metres at the Mazoa Hill prospect on the project. Hole MH-22-21 intersected the Quartz Metachert unit approximately 50 metres down dip of the previously released intercept of 58 metres grading 9.10 g/t from 142.5 metres down the hole in MH-21-04, according to a release. Golden Shield called the 58-metre down dip step-out “significant,” adding that the high-grade mineralization remains open to depth.

PlantX Life Inc said its United States and Canada e-commerce platforms "continue to excel" as resources for the plant-based community as it zeroes in on its online strategy, wholesale expansion and retail performance. In a corporate update, the company said it has deployed CRO and UX strategies to consistently enhance its website performance through improved website speed and navigation. As of May 31, 2022, PlantX's US eCommerce platform will feature another 10,000 new products with no burden on PlantX for inventory investment.

Thor Explorations Ltd has posted revenue of US$24.8 million in its first quarter as the gold miner achieved commercial output at its Segilola asset in Nigeria. In the three months to end-March 31, 2022, the firm milled 221,920 tonnes of ore and sold 16,658 ounces of gold at all-in sustaining costs (AISC) of US$799 per ounce. It also sold 922 ounces of silver. The net profit came in at US$200,473 compared to a net loss of US$67,365 in 1Q 2021.

LithiumBank Resources Corp has provided a corporate update related to its Boardwalk lithium brine project in Alberta, home to an inferred resource of 5,973,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) . “The Boardwalk project represents an enormous opportunity to help fulfill North America’s EV and storage requirements by providing a significant contiguous lithium brine resource with exceptional infrastructure and tremendous jurisdictional advantages,” said Paul Matysek, an independent director and the former executive chairman of Lithium One and Lithium X.

Star Royalties Ltd said its revenue in the first quarter ended March 31, 2022, reached $215,361, a 47% increase from the year-ago period. The company’s 1Q net loss narrowed to $706,393 from $974,872 in the corresponding period in 2021 while its basic and diluted loss per share narrowed to $0.01 from $0.02. "During the first quarter of 2022, Elk Gold Mine commenced production, while our Keysbrook royalty continued to outperform and exceed our cash flow expectations,” Alex Pernin, the company's chief executive officer said in a statement.

BANXA Holdings Inc has reported a year-on-year doubling in revenue for the first nine months of its current financial year, on the back of growth in commercial volumes and continued geographical and local payments expansion. In the nine months ended March 31, 2022, revenue totalled A$57 million ($41 million), a rise of 99% on the same period last year. "The March quarter results show our continued growth not just in commercial volumes but in our ambition to be the leading fiat on- and off ramp across Web3 in the most markets,” Domenic Carosa, founder and chairman of BANXA said in a statement. “Despite the recent market conditions, we've continued to deliver another positive growth period with key milestones on our roadmap reached."

Tribe Property Technologies Inc has announced its financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2022, reporting record revenue of C$4.2 million, up 11% from a year ago, driven primarily by organic growth and tuck-under acquisitions made late in 2021. The company said it experienced strong revenue growth on a per-home basis as it continued to digitize its acquired customers and roll out its Tribe Home platform to more communities. “Our digital approach to the traditional property management industry continues to be embraced by condo and rental communities alike with a very healthy organic lead pipeline,” said Joseph Nakhla, CEO of Tribe, in a statement.

MamaMancini’s Holdings Inc has announced that it boosted its fiscal 4Q revenue by 38.5% following the acquisition during the period of two premier gourmet food manufacturers whose products are highly symbiotic with the company’s existing distribution network. For the three months ended January 31, 2022, the company posted record revenue of $13.9 million, compared to $10 million for the year-ago quarter. For the fiscal year to end-January 2022, the company’s revenue increased 15.4% to a record $47.1 million, compared to $40.8 million in fiscal 2021.

CULT Food Science Corp announced that the GOOD Meat subsidiary of its US-based portfolio company, Eat Just Inc, has committed to building the world’s largest bioreactor complex for cultivated meat. Measuring four-storeys in height, the 10-bioreactor facility is expected to be operational by late 2024 and have the capacity to grow up to 13,700 tonnes of chicken and beef per year by 2030, CULT noted. “We are excited for GOOD Meat and its recent announcement as we believe that cellular agriculture is the solution to our global food crisis and the foundation of our future food system. GOOD Meat is helping to pave the way for a better future through the construction of the largest bioreactor complex in the world,” said Lejjy Gafour, chief executive officer of CULT in a statement.

HighGold Mining Inc has unveiled plans for a US$9 million exploration program this year at its Johnson Tract polymetallic gold project in Alaska, which includes follow-up drilling at the high-grade DC prospect discovery. One hole from the prospect was ranked as the third-best in 2021 amongst TSX listed companies by Australian mining database Opaxe. An updated resource for the JT deposit at the property is expected before the end of the second quarter this year, which will include 27,000 metres (m) of drilling from last year and 2020. "After drilling one of the best drill intersections globally in 2021, we are poised to have drills turning to follow-up on our exciting new high-grade discovery at the DC prospect," Darwin Green, the CEO of HighGold told investors in a statement.

Nova Royalty Corp has posted its results for the first quarter of 2022, which showed royalty revenue of C$673,519, up from C$2,073 in the same period of 2021. The increase was largely due to its 1% net smelter return (NSR) Aranzazu mine royalty in Mexico. Aranzazu is a copper-gold-silver deposit owned by Aura Minerals, and Nova bought the royalty in August 2021. The company's net loss of the quarter was C$1.74 million compared to a net loss of C$1.15 million in Q1, 2021.

AMPD Ventures Inc announced that its Departure Lounge Inc subsidiary has entered into a reseller agreement with Move.ai, a UK-based provider of a cutting-edge motion capture platform and associated technologies. The company said the agreement further enhances Departure Lounge’s ability serve as the ‘gateway to the Metaverse’ by adding advanced motion capture to its range of tools and technologies. Founded in March 2019 by Tino Millar, a computer vision PhD at Imperial College London, Move.ai is defining the future of motion capture - extracting natural human motion from video using advanced AI, computer vision, biomechanics, and physics. The system uses machine vision to capture up to 100,000 data points on a person compared with 10 to 15 points with traditional mocap, automatically retargeting data to character rigs.

Victory Resources Corporation announced new lab results from three new drill holes from its Phase One, 15-hole drill program at the Smokey lithium project in Nevada’s Clayton Valley. The Vancouver-based company said that results included up to 1,270 parts per million (ppm) and key lithium-bearing sections averaging up to 857 ppm. As a result of its analysis, Victory said its exploration team has staked additional ground based on its geologic model of the target lithium deposit.

Willow Biosciences Inc said it has been engaged by a specialty pharmaceutical company to optimize an enzyme vital to the development of a large volume Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) used in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical products. The counterparty is partnered with a large-cap, multi-national healthcare company. "This is a significant step forward in the evolution of Willow's business," Willow CEO Trevor Peters said in a statement. PyroGenesis Canada Inc revealed that it has received, and completed, another commercial order for its plasma atomized titanium powders for 3D printing. “This latest order, for 100 kilograms (kg), represents the second consecutive commercial batch of metal powders produced using the company’s NexGen plasma atomization system, at our state-of-the-art production facility in Montreal, in as many weeks,” Massimo Dattilo, VP of PyroGenesis Additive, said in a statement. “We are excited to release this second 100 kg batch so soon after the first.” Dattilo noted that creating the NexGen plasma atomization process, to produce the “highest quality metal powders” in the additive manufacturing industry, has been "a long and exacting journey."

Revive Therapeutics Ltd has announced plans to advance its drug pipeline for inflammatory liver disorders in light of the growing number of cases of acute hepatitis in children reported by the World Health Organization (WHO). Between April 5 and May 26, 2022, 650 probable cases of acute hepatitis of unknown aetiology in children across 33 countries have been reported to the WHO, according to Revive. “The aetiology of this severe acute hepatitis remains unknown and under investigation; as the cases are more clinically severe and a higher proportion develops acute liver failure than previous reports of acute hepatitis of unknown aetiology in children,” the company said.

Benchmark Metals Inc said it has signed a new agreement with the Tahltan Central Government to collaborate on efforts to advance Benchmark’s flagship Lawyers project in British Columbia. The Tahltan Central Government (TCG) advocates for Tahltan inherent aboriginal rights and title, and protects the eco-systems and natural resources of Tahltan traditional territory. Real Luck Group Ltd and its subsidiary companies, doing business as Luckbox, said it had cash and cash equivalents of C$12.5 million in the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. The award-winning provider of licensed esports betting, sports betting and casino games said the Luckbox casino now features more than 400 games and is expected to drive near-term revenue. Guardforce AI Co. Limited said its secured logistic subsidiary, Guardforce Cash Solutions Security (Thailand) Company Limited (GFCS), has extended its contract as the automated teller machine (ATM) service provider for Government Savings Bank (GSB) in Thailand. The contract, which starts on June 1, 2022, is worth about $19.5 million over a three-year period. Under the agreement, GFCS will service approximately 4,000 units across Thailand and provide a full suite of ATM services, including replenishment, maintenance and cleaning services. "We are delighted to have extended this significant multi-year ATM contract with Government Savings Bank in Thailand. This contract is a further illustration of our competitiveness, reliability, and solid reputation in the industry," Kee Yun Kwan, Guardforce AI said in a statement.

Cordoba Minerals Corp has told investors that a feasibility study is now underway for its San Matias copper-gold-silver project in Colombia, which will focus on updating the mine plan and resource estimate at the Alacran deposit. The work is also set to include trade-off studies aimed at improving the project's economics and a 40,000-metre (m) resource infill diamond drilling campaign - the largest drill program by the firm to date. "The preliminary feasibility study result announced in January 2022 confirmed that the San Matias Copper-Gold-Silver Project will generate positive economics," said the company's CEO Sarah Armstrong-Montoya. "We are excited to continue advancing the Project, designated as a Project of National Interest by the Government of Colombia, towards the feasibility stage."

Electra Battery Materials Corporation has announced the introduction of a comprehensive set of policies and frameworks dedicated to environmental, social and governance (ESG) best practices. The policies cover human rights, supply chain, environment and sustainability matters, the company said. Alongside the new policies, Electra is launching a whistleblower channel, open to internal and external stakeholders and accessible from the company’s website. Pathfinder Ventures Inc has said that its 1Q revenue received a boost from an increase in occupied site nights at the company’s RV resorts in British Columbia. The company posted revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2022, of $459,078 compared to $313,765 for the year-ago quarter. Occupied site nights in 1Q 2022 were 12,512 compared to 11,588 in the same period last year.

New Pacific Metals Corp has reported results from a further 20 holes from this year's work at the Silver Sand project in Bolivia as part of its15,000 metre (m) infill and step-out drilling for a resource update. So far 21,309m has been completed in 94 holes, expanding the budgeted 15,000m announced early this year, the firm said. Most have been sunk in the core area of Silver Sand, totaling 19,424m in 87 holes. One hole hit an interval of 60.48m grading 236 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag) from 82.10m to 142.58m, including an intercept of 6.45m grading 1,423 g/t silver from 103.25m to 109.7m.

Great Panther Mining Limited has reported more drill results from the Urucum North (URN) underground project at its Tucan gold mine in Brazil, which show the potential for additional production. URN is the northernmost series of open pits along the 7 kilometre (km) belt that hosts Great Panther's Tucano mine and the assays hail from 29 holes. Results from the first 19 holes were reported in July last year. Highlights included 2.5 metres (m) at a grade of 5.8 grams per ton (g/t) gold from a depth of 342m and 3.9m at 7.65 g/t of the yellow metal from 114m depth.

FPX Nickel Corp has revealed the results of new testing that it said demonstrates the potential for enhanced carbon capture and storage in tailings at its Baptiste project in the Decar nickel district in central British Columbia. The tests demonstrate the ability of these representative tailings to sequester CO2 into a permanent mineralized form. Vancouver-based FPX said that the results highlight the potential for the project to become the nickel industry's first carbon-neutral or carbon-negative operation.

Solstice Gold Corp has bolstered its lithium asset package by reaching an option agreement to acquire the Raven-Furniss Lithium project and forming the highly prospective Lightspeed Lithium project, both located near Thunder Bay, Ontario. These projects bring the company’s 100%-owned Lithium portfolio to 13 distinct assets. The option deal, dated May 30, will see Solstice pay Gravel Ridge Resources Ltd, 1544230 Ontario Inc and 2873454 Ontario Inc, the optionors, $24,200 in cash and issue 450,000 common shares. To exercise the option, the company must pay $24,000 by May 30, 2023, $30,000 by May 30, 2024 and $45,000 by May 30, 2025. Once exercised, the claims will be subject to a 1.5% net smelter return royalty in favor of the optionors, 0.75% of which may be repurchased by Solstice for $1 million, the company said.

Renforth Resources Inc said it has established the polymetallic mineralization at the Lalonde showing on its Surimeau property at 2.4 kilometres. The firm said mineralization has been extended to the east by around 1.7 kilometres and to the west by nearly 400 metres by surface sampling of electromagnetic anomalies located on the magnetic structure. Current fieldwork discovered surface battery metals sulphides within the northern magnetic structure hosting Lalonde, the company said.

Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp has revealed the commencement of exploration drilling at its Rincon West lithium project in Salta Province, Argentina. The Vancouver-based junior said five exploration holes are initially planned to test multiple prospective brine targets identified from the geophysical survey data. The drill program is expected to take four months to complete. The Rincon West project covers 2,470 hectares of the salar basin, located west of the adjacent Rincon project owned by Anglo-Australian mining giant Rio Tinto. Previously announced geophysics results delineated highly conductive units consistent with concentrated brine aquifers over 64% of the property area.

BioHarvest Sciences Inc said it has hired Dr Brian S. Cornblatt as its chief medical officer, marking a “significant milestone” in its plan to develop next-generation therapeutic solutions, including botanical drugs. "We are delighted to welcome Dr Cornblatt to the leadership team at BioHarvest at a time of transition and growth for us," Ilan Sobel, the CEO of BioHarvest said in a statement. Xigem Technologies Corporation said the company's management is of the view that the vendor of Cylix Data Group has breached certain key provisions of their asset purchase agreement. Currently, the breach makes it highly improbable for Xigem to recognize sole control of the Cylix asset and the books and records associated with it, resulting in the company's inability to formally control the Cylix asset, Xigem said. In January Xigem announced that it had completed the acquisition of the assets of 2747524 Ontario Inc, operating as Cylix Data Group for C$32.35 million. Xigem also said that it has filed its financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2022.

BlueRush Inc said it has closed its previously announced private placement of units at a price of $0.064 (equivalent to US$0.05) per unit. The company issued, on a non-brokered private placement basis to Canadian investors, an aggregate of 8,434,375 units for gross proceeds of $539,800. Each unit consists of one common share of the company, and one-half of one transferable share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant entitling the holder to acquire one common share of the company at a price of $0.096 (equivalent to US$0.075) per share until 48 months following closing, subject to acceleration. In connection with the closing, the company paid Canaccord Genuity Corp. a cash finders fee equal to $2,800 and issued them 43,750 broker warrants with each such broker warrant exercisable for one common share of the company at $0.064 per share for 60 months.
