Australian Gold and Copper’s Glen Diemar speaks with Proactive about the large amount of activity currently happening in NSW. Companies in the area have been buoyed by Alkane Resources' 10.1-million-ounce maiden gold equivalent resource, but with Sandfire, Fortescue, Newmont and Newcrest all in the region, the potential for major discoveries is seen as significant. Diemar also speaks to the extended gold mineralisation at Carlisle Reef, where the company recently received broad intercepts of near-surface gold. It's also where the 15-kilometre trend continues to deliver gold intercepts at both the north-western (Boxdale) and south-eastern (Carlisle Reefs) ends. Diemar and AGC are searching for a large, near-surface gold discovery. Despite rain delays, investors can also expect work at AGC’s gold target at Gundagai to be underway very soon.
