Andrew Newland, ANGLE’s CEO, says he is delighted with the collaboration in prostate cancer with US group Solaris Health, both from an unmet needs perspective and commercial potential.
Current PSA tests are invasive, inaccurate and sometimes dangerous, he says, and miss 30-40% of people who have prostate cancer, he explains.
Solaris has a network that treats 730,000 patients, he adds, and once it passes clinical trials the US group wants to offer the Parsortix test to all of these.
