Galileo Mining Ltd (ASX:GAL)'s Brad Underwood speaks with Proactive after the company found rhodium in its discovery drill hole at the Callisto property, part of the 100%-owned Norseman Project in WA. Yesterday, the explorer announced it had found sulphide mineralisation in all six drill holes at Callisto, intersecting palladium, platinum, gold, nickel and copper along the way. Following the results, rhodium will be added to Galileo’s assay suite for its upcoming drill program. Rhodium is currently priced around US$15,450 per ounce, with increasing demand for the mineral linked to its use in automotive pollution control systems.
