Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) has delineated new high-grade zones of zinc-lead mineralisation at Tonka and Chinook prospects of the Earaheedy Project in Western Australia.
The new zones at Tonka sit along the east-west trending Colorado Zone, consisting of multiple, open-ended and inferred mineralised feeder structures with strike lengths up to 2 kilometres long.
Results from two holes within Colorado Zone include:
EHRC515:
- 73 metres at 3.07% zinc + lead from 106 metres;
- 13 metres at 5.38% zinc + lead from 108 metres;
- 19 metres at 3.48% zinc + lead from 132 metres; and
- 9 metres at 3.56% zinc + lead from 162 metres, including 2 metres at 8.17% zinc + lead from 162 metres.
EHRC518:
- 7 metres at 10.71% zinc + lead from 137 metres; and
- 3 metres at 19.93% zinc + lead from 138 metres.
Rumble has moved to link the Tonka and Navajoh prospects following this latest round of drilling, creating an 8-kilometre-long mineralised trend which remains open along strike and down-dip.
Chinook results
The mineralised strike at Earaheedy grows to 19 kilometres when taking into account the Chinook prospect, where the mineralised zinc-lead footprint has grown 28% to 5-kilometres by 2-kilometres, open in all directions.
Highlight assays of note from Chinook include:
- 20 metres at 3.63% zinc + lead from 63 metres;
- 16 metres at 4.32% zinc + lead from 154 metres (Kalitan Feeder), including 7 metres at 6.57% zinc + lead from 156 metres;
- 20 metres at 3.17% zinc + lead from 136 metres (Kalitan Feeder), including 6 metres at 4.52% zinc + lead from 142 metres; and
- 19 metres at 3.62% zinc + lead from 68 metres (Kalitan Feeder), including 3 metres at 6.35% zinc + lead from 75 metres.
Rumble says drilling along the Kalitan Feeder Zone has advanced its structural interpretation and revealed a new high-grade east-west trending potential mineralised feeder, dubbed the Spur Zone.
Results from the newly identified Spur Zone include:
- 10 metres at 4.32% zinc + lead from 107 metres, including 2 metres at 12.34% zinc + lead from 107 metres;
- 6 metres at 4.13% zinc + lead from 100 metres, including 2 metres at 9.09% zinc + lead from 100 metres; and
- 34 metres at 1.54% zinc + lead from 67 metres, including 3 metres at 6.16% zinc + lead from 97 metres.
Emerging “world-class” system
Rumble has identified several east-west and north-west trending structures controlling high-grade mineralisation at Earaheedy, associated with corresponding gravity gradient features of up to 5 kilometres in strike length.
The company has so far focused on shallow, flat-lying zinc-lead mineralisation within the Navajoh Unconformity Unit (NUU).
Rumble believes there is potential to discover more structurally controlled high-grad zinc-lead mineralisation and copper-gold mineralisation within these feeder zones in the formations beneath the NUU.

With the newly granted E69/3787 licence, Earaheedy has provincial-scale potential, offering a further 23 kilometres of potential unconformity-type mineralised strike along the Sweetwater and Navajoh Southeast trends, which are yet to be drill tested.
This addition brings Earaheedy’s total strike length to 42 kilometres, providing an opportunity to discover other styles of high-grade mineralisation in the underlying, untested geological formations.
Rumble is particularly interested in the Iroquois Dolomite, where Strickland Metals Ltd (ASX:STK) announced intersections of high-grade zinc within the broad carbonate formation, which occurs over 35 kilometres of strike and has yet to be drill tested.
Next steps
From here Rumble will drill test multiple newly interpreted structures within the Colorado and Magazine Zones of the Tonka-Navajoh prospects, and further drill test the northwest-trending Kalitan and east-west trending Spur structures of the Chinook prospect.
