LexaGene Holdings Inc (TSX-V:LXG, OTCQB:LXXGF) announced that a large veterinary animal health corporation has purchased two of LexaGene’s MiQLab Systems for two of its locations.
The molecular diagnostics company said the MiQLab System is designed for in-clinic use, requires less than a minute to initiate sample processing, and returns results on the presence of 10 different pathogens and 33 markers for antimicrobial resistance in just two hours.
“We believe that our technology will add sufficient value to their business to justify a more aggressive adoption of the MiQLab System throughout their organization,” LexaGene Holdings CEO Jack Regan said in a statement.

“This sale further boosts our momentum in veterinary diagnostics,” Regan added.
LexaGene noted the veterinary corporation owns more than 100 specialty and emergency pet hospitals and clinics across the US.
It added that both of its locations will use the MiQLab Systems for fast evidence-based decision making at the point of care.
