Drylab Media Tech takes a key behind-the-scenes role on Oscar-nominated film

The company's production technology was used on the set of Norwegian arthouse sensation, The Worst Person in the World

The Norwegian arthouse film The Worst Person in the World was the surprise package of the awards season, winning multiple nominations, including two Oscar shouts.

Though it failed to land a coveted statuette, its star, Renate Reinsve, was named best actress at the prestigious Cannes Festival, which will no doubt result in a flood of Hollywood offers.

Taking a backstage role in the film, which so far has made US$11.8mln at the box office, was a company called Drylab Media Tech PLC, which provided on-set production technology for the picture.

A merger with Media Tech SPAC that helped bring in £4.1mln of new funding will help fund Drylab’s international expansion aspirations and should pave the way to a London stock market listing.

Carried above is a video which shows how the group wove its magic.
