Australian Potash appoints highly experienced project manager

“We are extremely fortunate to have a depth of project management and development experience in our team that is best in class,” APC managing director and CEO Matt Shackleton said.

Australian Potash Ltd (ASX:APC) has welcomed Tony Dominkovich to the team as project manager who will oversee the development of the Lake Wells Sulphate of Potash Project (LSOP) in WA.

Dominkovich’s 40 years plus of project management experience will be invaluable to APC, in particular his experience in the Western Australian SOP sector.

Just recently, Dominkovich was engaged by GR Engineering Services, who have been identified as the preferred contractor on the LSOP development.

Prior roles held include with Lycopodium (ASX:LYL) Limited, Barrick Gold and Alliance Mineral Assets, and these span the US, the UK, Australia and Africa.

Current project manager Rhett Brans will revert to a non-executive position effective at the end of May 2022 and will retain oversight of the technical aspects to the LSOP development.

“We are extremely fortunate to have a depth of project management and development experience in our team that is best in class,” APC managing director and CEO Matt Shackleton said.

“Rhett’s input and guidance through the FEED and early works programs was invaluable in de-risking the LSOP project and positioning it shovel ready.

"Tony’s vast experience across project developments on four continents, as well as his learnings from several of the new SOP developments here in WA sets APC up very well for a final investment decision and execution of the LSOP development strategy.”

Tony Dominkovich is APC's new project manager.
