Tharisa expects earnings per share growth

EPS is expected to be between US$32 and $33 per share

Tharisa PLC (LSE:THS, JSE:THA) said earnings per share (EPS) are expected to be at least 49.5% higher for the six months ending 31 March 2022 like for like.

EPS is expected to be between US$32 and $33 per share with a tolerance of 10%.

This is an increased of anywhere between 49.5% and 54.2% on the EPS of the prior year, and accounts for the acquisition of a controlling interest in Karo Holdings Limited.

Headline earnings per share ('HEPS') for the mining company for six months ended 31 March 2022 are expected to be between US$15 per share and US$16.0 per share with a tolerance of 10%.

This is a decrease of 31.5% to 26.9% relative to the HEPS of US$21.9 cents per share for the six months ended 31 March 2021.
