Gratomic Inc. (TSX-V:GRAT, OTCQX:CBULF) announced that it has commenced the next stage of drilling at the company's flagship Aukam Graphite Project in Namibia.
The Diamond Drilling (DD) campaign officially kicked off on May 16, 2022, with data gathered and targets defined using results collected from previous Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling and geophysical surveys, the Toronto-based graphite project developer said.
Part of the purpose of the DD program is to accurately define the mineralization intersected by the RC drilling campaign, which has delineated the direction and depth of graphite mineralization, the company said.

Gratomic said it had commissioned SkyTeam to conduct an electromagnetic airborne geophysical survey of the main areas of interest to further refine targets, and this was completed last month.
Over the past four months, its in-house mining engineering team has been designing and constructing a road up the side of the Aukam mountain to accommodate access to the DD teams and for future exploration and development.
“This information will be used to conclude the technical reports being prepared in accordance with the provisions of NI 43-101, which are currently underway at Aukam, particularly the geology report, which is intended to define resources,” it added.
Gratomic has also released an updated corporate presentation, highlighting the noteworthy progress the company has made in the last year at its Aukam, Buckingham, Capim Grosso, Jacobina and Igrapiuna projects.

Gratomic has projects in Namibia, Brazil, and Canada. It aims to be the largest vein graphite producer in the world, with full operational capabilities for its fully licensed and permitted 22,000 tonnes per annum Aukam Graphite processing plant on the horizon for Q4 2022 and initial "product in bag" achieved April 21, 2022.
