Aftermath Silver (TSX-V:AAG) Ltd has completed the phase one diamond drilling program at its Berenguela silver-copper-manganese project in Peru, the company announced.
The company revealed results from 14 drill holes, after publishing results from an initial 6 holes on May 4. A total of 6,168.15 meters in 63 diamond core holes has been drilled to date.
Specifically, Aftermath intersected 8m at 804 grams per ton (g/t) silver and 0.45% copper in hole AFD-020 from 56.5m downhole. In hole AFD-010, the company found a high-grade copper intercept which returned 5.15m at 5.03% copper from 58.9m downhole.

In five of the holes, silver-copper mineralization was intercepted from surface and the majority of the holes cut mineralization within 10m of surface, the company said. Full results from the 14 holes can be found here.
Aftermath has been drilling at Berenguela since December 2021 and is planning to advance the project through a pre-feasibility study. The company has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the project from SSR Mining.
