Supermarket Income adds more corporate finance and asset management experience to board

Frances Davies has over 30 years of experience in the industries

Supermarket Income REIT PLC (LSE:SUPR, OTC:SUPIF) has appointed former SG Warburg and Gartmore director Frances Davies to the board as a non-executive.

Davies, who has also been a partner of Opus Corporate Finance and a director at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management, will start next month.

She headed Morgan Grenfell’s institutional and retail pooled funds business and ran Gartmore’s global institutional and investment trust businesses.

Her other current roles include board positions for HICL Infrastructure, JPMorgan UK Smaller Companies, Aegon UK and Federated Hermes' Property Unit Trust, as well as Aviva's With-Profits committee.

Nick Hewson, chairman of Supermarket Income REIT, said: “Frances is an excellent addition to the board as a non-executive director. Her depth of experience in corporate finance, asset management and across a number of relevant board roles will be invaluable to the company and we look forward to working with her.”
