Krakatoa Resources Ltd (ASX:KTA) today defined a “substantial” maiden exploration target at the Tower clay-hosted rare earth element (REE) prospect at its Mt Clere Project. Krakatoa CEO Mark Major spoke with Proactive’s Ky Chow about the returned assays, developing an exploration target and what this milestone means for the company. In making today’s announcement, Major said, “This could well be one of the largest clay-hosted REE deposits within the southern hemisphere”. KTA is now focused on resource defining drilling, which is planned to start shortly.
