Empress Royalty Corp (TSX-V:EMPR, OTCQB:EMPYF) told investors that Altaley Mining Corp has announced the commencement of pre-production at the Tahuehueto mine where Empress holds a 100% silver stream.
The company noted that Altaley is the owner and operator of Tahuehueto and recently filed an updated technical report, including a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) for the mine. The PFS indicates an increase in the overall economics of the project.

"It is extremely rewarding to see our initial investment moving forward from a development stage asset into a producing mine and we look forward to start receiving revenue from this mine in 2Q 2022,” Empress Royalty CEO and president Alexandra Woodyer Sherron said in a statement. “The Tahuehueto silver stream is an example of the type of well-structured investments Empress intends to bring into the portfolio, to generate great returns for our shareholders.”
