Thesis Gold announces discovery of new West zone at Ranch gold-silver-copper asset in BC

This new zone sits around 50 metres (m) southwest of the South zone at the Thesis II occurence, which sits itself around 100m from the Main zone

Thesis Gold Inc (TSX-V:TAU) has unveiled more encouraging drill results from its Ranch gold-silver-copper project in British Columbia, which includes a new discovery called the West zone.

This new zone sits around 50 metres (m) southwest of the South zone at the Thesis II occurence, which sits itself around 100m from the Main zone. The new West zone has a strike-length of over 100m, has been hit up to 140 vertical metres from surface, is over 20m wide and remains open in all directions.

"This additional discovery near the Thesis II occurrence underscores the vast potential of the Thesis Structural Corridor and the Ranch property as a whole," Ewan Webster, the CEO, said in a statement.

"We look forward to following up on these exciting results, and are on track to finalize drill planning and beginning to execute on the upcoming 50,000 metre drill campaign in just over a month's time."

Drill highlights from the west zone include a length of 59m grading 1.60 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from a depth of 195m. That included an intercept of 7.70m of 5.20 g/t of the yellow metal.

In another hole, 13.65m of 1.37 g/t gold was hit from 198.11m depth, including 6m of 2.50 g/t gold.

This year's spring drill program saw seven holes sunk near the Thesis II occurence and the firm highlighted that the Thesis II main corridor has now been expanded to around 150m wide by 350m in strike, and is represented by a series of sub-parallel mineralized fault zones.

Initial successes at Thesis II and elsewhere within the Thesis Structural Corridor are highly encouraging, noted the firm, which added that it planned "a substantial amount of additional drilling" following up on new discovery zones and expanding known zones of mineralization.

Thesis' recently concluded spring drill program completed 4,705m across 17 holes within the Thesis structural corridor. There was follow-up drilling at two 2021 discoveries near the Thesis II and Thesis III occurrences, and conceptual exploration drilling near the Bingo occurrence.

The Ranch gold project is a road-accessible, 178 square kilometre (sq km) gold-silver-copper project in the prolific Golden Horseshoe area of north-central British Columbia, Canada.
