4D pharma PLC (AIM:DDDD, NASDAQ:LBPS) said it will present an update from the phase I/II trial of its putative asthma treatment at an industry conference.
The data will be delivered as a late-breaking abstract, which will underline the safety and efficacy of MRx-4DP0004.
The drug, derived from ‘good’ bacteria and known as a live biotherapeutic, was well-tolerated with no treatment-related severe adverse events, delegates to the American Thoracic Society (ATS) International Conference will learn.
Researchers also found that 83.3% of patients receiving the 4D asthma medication reported improved asthma control questionnaire scores.
