Talon Metals reports results for quarter ended March 31, 2022

Capitalized exploration costs and deferred expenditures on the Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project for the three months ended March 31, 2022 amounted to $16.2 million

Talon Metals Corp said that in the three months ended March 31, 2022 it recorded a net loss of $1.2 million, mainly due to administration expenses and stock option compensation.

In the year-ago period, the Canada-listed base metals company reported a net loss of $0.8 million.

Capitalized exploration costs and deferred expenditures on the Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project for the three months ended March 31, 2022 amounted to $16.2 million, it said, compared to $6.4 million for the three months ended March 31, 2021. The total capitalized exploration cost to the Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project to March 31, 2022 amounted to $113.3 million.

Talon is in a joint venture with Rio Tinto on the high-grade Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project located in central Minnesota.
