Plus500 Ltd (LSE:PLUS) shares rose in a falling market after the fintech group raised full-year revenue and earnings guidance.
The contracts for difference (CFD) trading platform operator said trading in the second quarter of 2022 had continued to be very strong giving the board confidence to predict that revenues and underlying earnings (EBITDA) for the full year would be significantly ahead of the current market expectations of US$628.4mln and US$290.5mln respectively.
The group said its strong performance so far in 2022 has also been driven by the development of new proprietary technologies and product offerings, which will deliver growth and drive expansion and diversification across new geographies.
Shares in Plus 500 were 3.1% firmer at 1,558p.
