One Media iP Group PLC (AIM:OMIP) said it has submitted a bid of £3.5mln for a 1% stake in the back catalogue of Pink Floyd.
The digital music rights acquirer, publisher and distributor said it made the submission after the Dark Side of the Moon musicians placed their entire back catalogue of music for sale for an estimated £350mln.
"There is no certainty that the company's offer will be considered or accepted by the vendors," One Media said in a statement on Friday.
One of the bestselling bands of all time with 75mln albums sold in the US, Pink Floyd have put both songwriting and recording catalogues up for grabs.
