Eight Capital Partners Plc announced the appointment of Richard Day to the board of its corporate advisory subsidiary Epsion. Day was a co-founder of institutional stockbroker Arden Partners where he was head of corporate finance.

Chairman Dominic White struck a bullish tone in a comment for the statement. "A clear pathway lies ahead for the transformation of the Eight Capital business in terms of its size, market value and influence in financial services, notably through the use of fintech," he said. "We have an active and growing pipeline of transactions through both of our Operating Subsidiaries, Epsion and Innovative Finance, and we will be seeking to raise and generate capital from our current investments to co-invest through them, as well as a number of corporate level potential strategic operating partnerships that we intend to deliver in the coming months."

One Media iP Group Plc told investors it has submitted a bid, of £3.5mln, for a 1% stake in the back catalogue of Pink Floyd, in response to the band putting it up for sale with a total price target £350mln.

Avation Plc told investors it continues to seek approval from the UK Financial Conduct Authority for its prospectus relating to the listing of warrants issued to bondholders, following a recent maturity extension, and it currently anticipates that they will be accepted to the London Stock Exchange on or around May 30.

Bens Creek Group Plc noted the exercise of share warrants, resulting in the issue of 250,000 new shares at 10p per share, generating £36,825 of proceeds.

Vast Resources Plc reported the conversion of bonds with a face value of US$500,000 held by Atlas Special Opportunities LLC, resulting in the issue of 151.26mln new shares in the company at a price of 0.27p per share. It leaves some US$4.15mln of convertible bonds remaining and the company said it remains confident about the finalisation of the legal documentation process for a refinancing.
