Cenkos Securities PLC (AIM:CNKS) said it is confident in its business model and its ability to raise funds at every stage in the market cycle.
While it flagged in its AGM statement what it described as a 'challenging' macro environment, with rising inflation and interest rates and war in Ukraine providing headwinds, it remained reasonably upbeat.
“The company had a good start to the year having completed three IPOs, four placings and two M&A transactions within the first 10 weeks of the year,” it said in a short statement ahead of the meeting.
It added that it was working on a number of transactions and said it has an ‘encouraging pipeline’ for the rest of the year.
Cenkos acts as adviser, sponsor, and broker to companies mainly on AIM, the London Stock Exchange’s junior bourse.
